What to Expect at
Farm Camp
There's no better way to spend summer than at Here We Grow Agricultural Learning Center! Under the guidance of our dedicated and knowledgeable counselors, campers will care for and learn about farm animals, participate in daily farm routines, and explore farm-based businesses and sustainable practices.
From mini cows, donkeys, alpacas, and horses to goats, sheep, chickens, and bunnies, campers will engage in hands-on experiences with a variety of animals while immersing themselves in the beauty of the great outdoors. Located in West Friendship, MD, our farm provides a unique environment where children can disconnect from screens and reconnect with nature.

Camp Details
- When: Weekly Sessions June 16th - August 29th
- Time: 9:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Before & After Care Available)
- Ages: 3 - 15 years old
- Cost: $400 per week
- Before & After Care (7:00 AM - 6:00 PM): $150 per week
- Before OR After Care: $95 per week

Workshop Rotations

Greenhouse
Spend time in our gardens learning about and harvesting our crops. Experience hands-on planting, understanding sustainable farming practices, and the joy of growing your own food.

Fishing & Kayaking
Spend time out on the pond learning about the aquatic life here on the farm. Discover water ecosystems, practice fishing techniques, and enjoy peaceful kayaking adventures.

Set Up Shop
Learn about the market side of the farm through hands-on experience collecting eggs, milking goats, prepping milk-based products, and arranging flowers for our farm stand sales.

Water Play
Beat the heat with our exciting water activities! Enjoy refreshing fun with sprinklers and our giant inflatable water slides, perfect for those hot summer days on the farm.

Farm Show
Weekly opportunity for campers to showcase their knowledge about the animal of the week. Learn presentation skills while sharing interesting facts and experiences with fellow campers.
